When manor doors creak and headstones quake, shadows come out to play throughout the Manor Estate grounds. It’s Halloween time in MyVirtualKingdom! Boo 2 You is setting up to be one of the biggest and most extravagant October themes yet! Harvest Lane is open once again with the a-maze-ing Corn Maze, Pumpkin Patch with a special daily prize and the ever-popular Mindyer Manor grounds.
First let’s talk about the Pumpkin Patch. This year, pumpkins 1 through 30 will give the same prize, a Pumpkin Patch Ticket. You’re going to want to collect as many of these tickets as you can because you’ll use them on Halloween night at the Boo 2 You Game. More tickets means more opportunities to play the game and win prizes!
Speaking of Halloween night, begin thinking now of what costume you’ll wear to the Mindyer Manor Halloween Party! There will be a trophy awarded to the best costumes we see and you’re going to want to add this trophy to your collection…
Halloween decorations once again fill the Kingdom from My Town to the Hubs and beyond. Take a tour of The Century Hotel, as the decades are now decorated for Halloween too! While we’re on the subject of the hotel, we have exciting news! Four new floors are opening in the hotel this month! You’ll soon be able to visit the families of the 60s, 70s, 80s, and 90s! Look for a new floor to open each Sunday. The Century Hotel will soon be complete as families fill almost a century of decades.
You might notice that Time Pieces is roped off and also not accessible from the Yesteryear map. Don’t worry, we haven’t removed this Mini Game but instead are putting the finishing touches on a new version of the game! More details about the all-new Time Pieces comes later at the Time Pieces Game Night event. Once you experience the new gameplay, you’ll see why it is now one of the most detailed Mini Games in the Kingdom!

Best World’s Fair Pavilion Was Made By…
The Kingdom has voted and the count is in! Congratulations goes to ymergirl, the winner of the World’s Fair II Best Room Contest for September! ymergirl received these Best Room prizes: a Best Room Award Pin, 2015 Best Room Award Sign and 1500 coins. There was a tie for third place, giving the next five rooms with the most votes received a 2015 Honorable Mention Award Pin. All participants received a Limited Edition Hat. Way to go!
Staff has selected the spookiest Best Game for September! Congratulations to Beluga, the winner of September’s Best Game Contest! Beluga received these fun Best Game prizes: a Best Game Award Pin, 2015 Best Game Award Sign and 1500 coins. Play Belgua’s game as the Staff Event on Thursdays in October. Way to go to this first-time game winner!
When you enter the Kingdom today, you will receive a message whether your Gateway Puzzle was judged as correct. If your puzzle was correct, you received the cool Gateway Puzzle Award ribbon, a Gateway Puzzle Pin and all of the puzzle pieces you placed on the floor become rugs for you to decorate with! If you wish to keep your puzzle pieces together, the Puzzle Keeper found in Outfitters is a great way to store your puzzles for later and not carry them around in your inventory. Everyone’s favorite month in MVK is only 4 days away! The MVK Gallery just received its monthly update to showcase some of the “fang-tastic” new items for October. As you know, every October is filled with spooky new rooms, “boo-tiful” decorations and costumes to buy, “terror-ific” Treks, Mission and more! We’ve planned out every detail for another fun-filled Halloween and hope you’ll be as thrilled as we are to see it begin in a few short days!
Today, Room Judging begins for the World’s Fair II Best Room Contest. You will be selecting the room winners! Be sure to go by the Exhibition Hall and look at all the rooms before you vote. Everyone in the Kingdom will have four votes in which to cast. YOU MUST USE ALL FOUR VOTES AT ONE TIME WHEN YOU VOTE, this is your only opportunity. Everyone made some really great rooms and this is a unique time in which the entire Kingdom participates in the Best Room Contest. Take some time and look at all the rooms. Also today, everyone who entered a room into the World’s Fair II Best Room Contest will receive a Limited Edition Hat. Congrats!
