Halloween is just around the corner which brings us to this month’s Best Game Contest. We’re looking for an extra-spooky game with a Halloween theme to be played as the Thursday Staff Events in October. Dust off your Mindyer Manor-themed rooms (or not, cobwebs look great) and begin building today!

Here are some thoughts to keep in mind as you create your game:

• Make your game fun and easy to understand by those playing it. Complicated rules make games confusing.
• Test it out with your friends, before you have Staff test it.  This lets you get a feel for how your game will flow when it is being played by a group of people.
• Have you thought of making it multi-player? Working as a team or playing in a group makes it fun for everyone.
• Purchase the Best Game Marker from Outfitters and place it in your room to enter the Contest. Once your marker has be placed in your game room, Staff will then look for you to test your game.
• The last day to enter the contest is September 24th.
• The winner of the Best Game will receive these prizes: a 2015 Best Game Sign, a Best Game Award Pin, 1500 coins, recognition in the Newsletter and on MyVirtualKingdom Facebook AND their game will be featured as the Thursday Staff Events in October!
