When we learned that the World’s Fair was slated to return to the Kingdom this year, we jumped for joy! Thinking back over the innovative pavilions that everyone created last year made us all the more excited to share the news of World’s Fair II with you!
Follow the sign at the end of Corner Crossroads and you’ll soon stand in front of the beautiful glass building, resembling the famous Crystal Palace at the 1851 World’s Fair in London in the World’s Fairgrounds. Step inside and you’ll be standing in Exhibition Hall which leads to the 5 themed areas of the Fair: Amusement, Industrial, International, Realm, and Transportation. In this year’s World’s Fair II Best Room Contest, companies from all around the Kingdom are ready to sponsor pavilions in the themed areas, but they need your help creating the room! We are excited to announce that new sponsors have stepped forward to have a pavilion created! Before you step into the Contest Entry booth at the fairgrounds, be sure to read the Contest Post to see what each sponsor is requesting their pavilion to be like. Everyone who enters will receive a special prize and the room you create will also become part of a Staff Trek on September 29th and 30th! Stop by Exhibition Hall often to visit the portal-connected room entries as they are being created.
There are even more exciting activities planned for this month that include Fair-themed events, Friday sales, Contests, Poll questions, Mission Rewards, Treks and more. When planning this theme, we knew that the Midway Realm’s yet-to-be-opened Mini Game, AquaDucks, would be the perfect event to hold on the 24th. If you’re interested in attending the grand opening event of this steampunk-themed rubber duck game, be sure to save the date! Have fun and enjoy this month!
