The winning entry of January’s Best Game Contest will be played on Thursdays in February. With this in mind, we’d “love” for you to create a “sweet” game to play during the month that features Valentine’s Day! Your game’s theme doesn’t have to be red and pink with hearts everywhere, but we do want to see it have a candy theme. Candy dispensers, candy canes, candy cannons, candy boxes… there are so many sweet items for you to use!

Here are some thoughts to keep in mind as you create your game:

• Make your game fun and easy to understand by those playing it. Complicated rules make games confusing.

• Test it out with your friends, before you have Staff test it.  This lets you get a feel for how your game will flow when it is being played by a group of people.
• Have you thought of making it multi-player? Working as a team or playing in a group makes it fun for everyone.

• Purchase the Best Game Marker from Outfitters and place it in your room to enter the Contest. Once your marker has be placed in your game room, Staff will then look for you to test your game.
• The last day to enter the contest is January 25th.

• The winner of the Best Game will receive these prizes: a 2015 Best Game Sign, a Best Game Award Pin, 1500 coins, recognition in the Newsletter and on MyVirtualKingdom Facebook AND their game will be featured as the Thursday Staff Events in February!
