The Discovery cruise ship is a massive vessel with many cabins to hold all of her passengers. To prepare these rooms for her maiden voyage, we need your help! In the Discovery Challenge, each player has their own Discovery Ship Cabin aboard the ship and will need to collect all of the items pictured below and place them correctly to complete the contest. When you step inside your cabin room, you will notice “ghost images” of where to place each item. Throughout the month, the items needed will be released in a variety of ways: for sale during weekly sales (6th, 13th, 20th), Trek prizes (3rd, 10th, 17th), Staff Event prizes (1st, 5th, 15th, 19th), Mission Reward prize (1st-15th) and Token Machine prizes (1st-30th). While each cabin room must be built according to the “ghost images”, we’d also like to see you add your own personal touches to really make the cabin yours. How should this be done? Feel free to add extra items or posters on the walls, shelves, desk, luggage stand, table or other areas around the room without changing the placement of the required furniture. If any of the required items are misplaced when the contest ends, your room will be judged as incorrect. Now let’s talk about prizes… What will you win for completing the Discovery Challenge? (1) Sunglasses On Head – Sport, (1) Discovery Cruise Shirt, (1) Board Shorts – Black, (1) All-Terrain Sandals – Blue, and you get a chance at winning the Best Room Contest with its prizes of a Best Room Award Pin, 2014 Best Room Award Sign, and 1500 coins! Yes, everyone who enters and completes the Discovery Challenge will be entered into the Best Room Contest for June. Staff will select four of the best decorated cabins for the Kingdom to vote on in Town Hall during the week of June 25-29th. The winner will be announced June 30th!

Okay, here is a re-cap of the Discovery Challenge:

  • Collect all of the required items and place them on the “ghost images” in your cabin room.
  • Add your own personal touch with additional furniture items, but don’t change the placement of the required items.
  • Please keep your Discovery Cabin Portal placed in your cabin, so that everyone can enjoy visiting each room throughout the month.
  • Do not change your room type to Private. Any other room type (General, Game, Ride, Trade, Portal-Connected) is fine.
