Today we are happy to announce the release of our brand-new Wiki site! With many great new features and a cleaner ad-free look, we’ve been looking forward to sharing this news with you! You may be wondering, “Why make a new Wiki?” “Is it a complete collection of items?” Here are the answers:

• Q: Why make a new Wiki?
  • A: Our original Wiki on Wikia was a great way for us to try our hand at cataloging items for our players to refer to. Adding items was a complicated and time-consuming process. Over the past few years, as more and more items were added it became harder to keep the pages interconnected and up-to-date. Long pages full of items plus their many site ads meant pages began to load slower. We had also been looking for a way to make items on the Wiki easier to find. With that being said, we’re confident that our new site will be easier to navigate, faster to load, up-to-date, and best of all – ad free!
• Q: How can I find the new Wiki?
  • A: You can visit it by clicking on the “Visit the MVK Wiki” button on our homepage or by clicking on this link: MyVirtualKingdom Wiki.
• Q: Does it have a complete catalog of items?
  • A: While it does not yet contain all of the Kingdom’s past items, we are working to quickly bring it fully up-to-date.
• Q: What new features does this Wiki have?
  • A: Wow, where to begin? Here are a few of our favorite new features:
    • The “Recent Additions” area displays links to the 5 most recent items added.
    • Hover over an item’s photo to quickly read all about it without having to visit the item’s page.
    • Every item is now labeled whether or not it is eligible for MVK’s Christmas Wish.
    • Dream items now feature the name of who dreamt for it.
    • Items released will automatically be added to the Wiki when the Kingdom opens (1 p.m. CT).
    • Best of all, there is a calendar which displays items by their release date. Were you on vacation and missed last Tuesday’s Trek? Click on that date to view all of the items released that day.
• Q: Can I visit the Wiki on my tablet or smartphone?
  • A: Absolutely! Our new Wiki has been tested on various-sized devices to ensure you can browse the site from anywhere!

As mentioned before, we hope to have a complete catalog of items on the site as soon as possible, so please bear with us. Overall, we are extremely pleased with how our new Wiki turned out and we are confident it will be a faster, clutter-free, easy place to browse the ever-growing collection of Kingdom items!
