The Best Game Contest for July has a special twist – every game that is built to the requirements and entered will become part of the MVK Golf Tour Event during the last week of this month! The best-decorated room with the most creative hole design, as chosen by Staff, will win the contest and be featured as the first hole along the course during the event! Everyone who enters this contest will win the Grand Prize of a Golfer Vest With Bag – the perfect item to wear to the MVK Golf Tour Event!
Here is what you need to know to create a golf course hole for the contest:
- You will need to create only 1 hole in your room.
- You will need to start your golf course design with (2) Golf Tee Mats and end with (1) Earth Rug – Hole.
- To ensure that each hole is Par 3, the length of your design from the Golf Tee Mat to the Hole must be no longer than (7) Grass Carpets.
- To make the course easy to see in each game, please only use Grass Rugs in your golf course hole design.
- Get fancy! Use ride track or queue to make your golf hole longer yet still remain 7 spaces from Tee to Hole. Can you include a hole-in-one option into your course design? Give it a try!
- Place (1) Number Randomizer near the Golf Tee Mats, which will be used to “putt” the ball during the event. If you do not add this, don’t worry – Staff will add it before the event.
- (1) Scorekeeper will be used to track the number of swings taken to complete the hole. If you do not add one, don’t worry – it will be added by Staff before the event.
- Consider adding a few chairs to your room so that others can sit and cheer to the side while the your group is golfing.
- Last but not least… theme your golf hole to a National Park or a historic landmark (White House, Alamo, Liberty Bell, Statue of Liberty, Independence Hall, etc.). We’ve created many items to help you create your golf course hole which will be for sale, event prizes, and in the Token Machines. See the list of ideas here.
- To help you get ideas, after each of this month’s Staff Events, you will travel through a model golf course hole room which will have tips in the room info about course design.
Staff will need to test your game to make sure it is course-approved, so remember to place the Best Game Marker when you are ready for them to visit. Get creative, have fun and enjoy this month’s contest!
