3_13_BestGameContestThe Kingdom’s Best Game Contest for March has started! Everyone that enters will win a Route 66 Cap and Shirt! Plus, the Best Game Contest winner, as chosen by Staff, will receive all of the Best Game prizes listed below. We have a new twist on the contest for this month, here are all of the details:

Did you know that creating a fun game is as easy as 1-2-3? For this special player-created Route 66 Staff Event:

  1. Keep your one room game simple, short and easy to play – only 1-3 minutes long. Please leave room for portals at the beginning and at the end of your game.
  2. Make your Route 66 themed game, following one of these 3 designs. Decorate it up!
    • Portal Maze – One room of Portals, where you have to find your way out…be creative!
    • Queue/Ride Maze – One room with a few junctions, finding your way to the other side…with a twist perhaps?
    • Obstacle Course – One room. Can you find your way to the other side? Here you can hop chairs, walk around items, through queue, using ride or portal…whatever fun you can come up with!

Photo examples of each design can be found at the bottom of this post. This is just to give you an idea of somewhere to start with your idea. Be creative, make it fun!

  1. Staff will test every game, so place the Best Game Marker found in Outfitters in your room to let them know you are ready to test it. Staff will know to look for you by your marker or you can stop by Town Hall and let them know. The last day to enter is March 18th.

After all the games have been tested, Staff will take all of the contest entries and connect them end to end, with the Best Game Winning Room as the first room in the chain. You will be traveling as a group through each of the games on Route 66 in this unique games road trip, which will be played as the Staff Events on Sunday, March 24th and Thursday, March 28th!
*Because we are featuring this fun Staff Event on the above listed dates, the Best Game winner will not be a Staff Event in April.

Theme: Route 66

The winner of March’s Best Game will receive these prizes: a 2013 Best Game Sign, a Best Game Award Pin, 1500 coins, recognition in the Newsletter and on MyVirtualKingdom Facebook in addition to the cool Route 66 Cap and Shirt!
